Congratulations to Fashion Design Senior Tristan Marley Wilson (graduating class of 2023), who was selected as one of ten North American finalists in the 2022 Pierre Cardin Young Designers Competition.
His faculty advisor is Assistant Professor Barbara Trippeer who oversaw the competition entries of Fashion Design students, who then worked directly with the Pierre Cardin Paris design team at the French Consulate in New York City on November 16th, 2022.
In the initial judging, six of the Fashion Design students had been selected as semi-finalists, including: Christian Tremayne Thornton, Lily Flandorfer, Trang Mai, Pramila Raut, Alexandria Sallee, and Tristan Marley Wilson. The images below capture the workshops held in the Dallas Design District directly with the Pierre Cardin Paris design team on November 11, 2022.
The Dallas Chapter of FGI (Fashion Group International) then celebrated the announcement along with the entire Pierre Cardin Paris design team at a special screening event in the Dallas Design District on November 17th, 2022.
